Privacy policy

This is a translation provided for convenience. The French version is the only legally binding one.

Data collected

LNA-CI collects the following categories of data, depending on your profile:

Data we did not receive from you. Our verification service relies on official professional registers published by Ivorian professional orders and bodies (OACI, the Chambre des notaires, OGE-CI, MCLU…). We reuse professional information from them — name, profession, licence number, and, depending on the register, a professional address or phone number. The purpose is to let an individual check that a professional is genuinely registered before entrusting them with money, and to let that professional claim their profile. If you appear there and would rather not, write to contact@lna-ci.com: we will remove the profile.

Purposes of processing

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

Managing the professional account — creation, authentication, profile updates
Publication in the directory — public display of verified professional information
Identity verification — our team checking professional documents
Introductions — passing contact details on to authorised visitors
Usage statistics — improving the platform and providing analytics to professionals
Communications — notifications about your account and platform news (with consent)

Data retention

Professional contact requests	36 months from the last exchange, in line with the CNIL's recommendation on prospecting
Technical logs	Kept by our hosting providers, for 12 months at most
Audience measurement	Only after consent, withdrawable at any time (see Cookies)

Deleting your account is immediate and final — it is neither deferred nor reversible. It is done from your settings, without needing to write to us.

Data sharing

LNA-CI does not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

Directory visitors — only the professional information you have chosen to make public
Our technical processors — the full list is set out below, with each one's hosting location
Competent authorities — in response to a judicial or legal request

Transfers outside the European Union. The processors flagged above as “outside the EU” handle some data in the United States. These transfers are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, by the Data Privacy Framework. Your account data and the entire database, meanwhile, remain hosted in the European Union.

All our processors are contractually bound to protect the confidentiality and security of your data, in compliance with the GDPR, which applies to this processing as we are established in France.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

Right of access — obtain a copy of your personal data
Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data
Right to erasure — request deletion of your data
Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured format. There is no export button in your account yet: the request is made by email and we reply within a month
Right to object — object to certain processing
Right to restriction — temporarily restrict processing

To exercise these rights, write to contact@lna-ci.com. As the publisher is established in France, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority, cnil.fr).

Security

LNA-CI implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data:

Encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
Password-free sign-in, using a single-use code sent by email (expiring after 15 minutes)
Data isolation at the database level (row level security): a professional can only access their own data
