Terms of use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the LNA-CI platform (lna-ci.com), a certified directory of real estate professionals in Côte d'Ivoire, published by Okobe Tech.

By accessing the platform, you accept these Terms of Use in full. They apply to all categories of users: anonymous visitors, registered professionals and members of the diaspora.

Registration is open to individuals of legal age and to legally constituted organisations. Users undertake to:

• Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information when registering
• Keep their sign-in details confidential
• Not create more than one account for the same professional or firm
• Report any unauthorised use of their account immediately

LNA-CI reserves the right to suspend or delete any account whose information proves to be inaccurate or fraudulent.

The LNA-CI platform offers real estate professionals:

• A public profile listed in the certified directory
• A management dashboard (profile, availability, documents, statistics)
• A verification badge once their professional documents have been checked
• Visibility statistics (profile views, contacts received)
• Introductions to members of the Ivorian diaspora investing in real estate

Once your profile is verified and you approve a generated piece of content (by copying it or switching on relay), you authorise LNA-CI to share it on its own channels: its Facebook page and group, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and WhatsApp status, as well as any other channel LNA-CI considers relevant to your visibility. This relay is a free service intended to give your business a visibility you could not achieve on your own.

This authorisation is subject to the following limits:

• You stay in control, post by post: a “Also share on LNA-CI's channels” switch accompanies every piece of content generated. It is on by default; switching it off withdraws that particular piece of content from sharing.
• Content is shared exactly as you published it, without any substantive change, credited to you and linking to your verified profile.
• LNA-CI is not obliged to share any given piece of content and remains solely responsible for its editorial choices. Content that breaches these Terms of Use will not be shared.
• You remain the owner of your content and responsible for its accuracy, in particular any information relating to properties and their legal status.
• You may ask at any time for a piece of content already shared to be withdrawn, by simply writing to the contact address below.
• When a shared property is sold or let, LNA-CI asks you whether you would like the listing withdrawn. With your agreement, it may stay online, noting that the property has been taken.

Any visitor may leave a recommendation on a professional's profile, without creating an account. This content is written by the client and reviewed by LNA-CI before publication.

The professional concerned may reply to a recommendation or report one to LNA-CI, but cannot delete it themselves.

It is strictly forbidden to:

• Publish false or misleading information about one's professional qualifications
• Impersonate another professional or firm
• Use the platform for purposes contrary to Ivorian regulations
• Scrape, extract or bulk-reproduce data from the directory
• Harass, spam or otherwise contact other users abusively
• Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the platform

The “Verified by LNA-CI” badge is awarded after review of the following documents:

• A valid official proof of identity
• Proof of registration with the relevant professional order or body
• A professional civil liability insurance certificate (depending on profession)

Verification takes 48 business hours from the date the full set of documents is submitted. LNA-CI reserves the right to withdraw the badge if documents expire or information is found to be invalid.

Basic registration on LNA-CI is free and includes the public profile, the verification badge and essential statistics.

Premium features may be offered in future (featured placement in the directory, advanced statistics, etc.). Any change in pricing will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance.

LNA-CI acts as an intermediary and cannot be held liable for:

• Contractual relationships formed between professionals and clients through the platform
• The quality of services provided by registered professionals
• Temporary service interruptions for maintenance
• Indirect or consequential losses connected with use of the platform

LNA-CI's liability is limited, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, to the amount paid by the user over the previous 12 months.

Users may close their account at any time from the Settings > Danger zone section. Deletion takes effect within 30 days, a period during which data is retained as a backup.

LNA-CI may terminate an account without notice in the event of a serious breach of these Terms of Use, fraudulent activity, or a court order.

LNA-CI reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time. Registered users will be notified by email at least 15 days before any changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that period constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
